I’m Ajay. I live in Bangalore, India, and come from Sagar, a city in Madhya Pradesh. I’m biased, but it’s beautiful. I have written software for a living since 2020 and for the fun of it since well before that.
I’ve always been fascinated by how systems, organisations and people fit together. Software lets me follow those flows, make something new from them and work through the hard parts with other people.
Away from the keyboard, I explore cultures through food, play chess badly and keep finding new parts of physics I wish I understood.
Now August 2026
I’m at Regie.ai, on the systems that move data between customers’ CRMs and their outreach. Most of my day is design and review. The first draft of the code is usually my AI pair’s; the plan it follows is mine.
How I work
Ask a lot of questions. I rarely understand a problem from the first description. I follow it through the code, talk to the people involved and keep asking until it makes sense to me.
Put the thinking somewhere visible. I draw things, write down a plan and share it early. It is easier to find a bad assumption when it is on a page instead of inside my head.
Stay with it. A passing test or finished diff is useful, but I still want to see what happened when the change met the real world. If the result surprises me, I follow that thread too.
On the side
Lately I’ve been experimenting with Omarchy and running local models such as Muse Glimmer on my own machine. I’m also reading about Ryan Dahl’s celld and learning Rust, slowly. Away from all of it, I’m trying to live more, and to understand myself better.
